Dear all,

We would like to inform you of an outage on the NGIS UAT environment, to implement a software release to Congenica. The outage will be on Tuesday, 28 April 2026 from 10:00 (BST) to 14:00 (BST).

The Congenica v4.2 Release Note is available in the 'GEL Release Documentation' folder in NHS Futures.

The main changes in this release are:

- Exomiser Upgrade
The platform’s variant prioritization pipeline has been upgraded from Exomiser v12 to
v14.1.
- HPO Reference Dataset Update
The internal Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) database has been updated to the 2025-11-24 Release. The platform now supports searching and submitting all HPO terms included in this version.
- Bug Fixes

Please note that Congenica in the NGIS UAT environment will be unavailable during the advised timeframe. There will be no impact to NGIS production Congenica portal.
