NGIS Production Environment: Regulus Increment 1.4 and Congenica v4.2 Release Notification

We would like to inform you of software releases in the NGIS production environment. Regulus Increment 1.4 and Congenica v4.2 will be released on Wednesday, 06 May 2026 from 17:00 (BST) to 21:00 (BST).

The main changes in the Regulus Increment 1.4 release are:
- Gene panel updates to align to Test Directory v9
- Bug fixes

The main changes in the Congenica v4.2 release are:
- Exomiser Upgrade
The platform’s variant prioritization pipeline has been upgraded from Exomiser v12 to
v14.1.
- HPO Reference Dataset Update
The internal Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) database has been updated to the 2025-11-24 Release. The platform now supports searching and submitting all HPO terms included in this version.
- Bug Fixes

The Regulus Increment 1.4 Release Note and the Congenica v4.2 Release Noteare now available in the 'GEL Release Documentation' folder in NHS Futures.

Please note that all applications in the NGIS production environment will be unavailable within this timeframe.
