Dear all,

We would like to inform you of planned maintenance and a software release for Cancer DSS in the NGIS production environment. CDSSv6.21.0 will be released on Wednesday, 23 September 2026 from 17:00 (BST) to 21:00 (BST).

The CDSSv6.21.0 Release Note is now available in the 'GEL Release Documentation' folder in NHS Futures.

The main changes in the CDSSv6.21.0 release are:
- Cosmic replacement changes - Updates to Domain 2 list from cancer gene census to cancer gene list.
- Exon/intron annotations for SVs.
- Filter usability improvements.
- VAF disclaimer update.
- Ability to filter by Tier for TO cases.
- Bug fixes

This maintenance release will also introduce the option to update clinical indications for cancer referrals. Further details are available here .

Please note that the NGIS applications will be unavailable in the NGIS production environment during the advised timeframe.
