NGIS Production Environment: Congenica Case Deletion - 03 September 2026 Sep 3, 2026 09:00-17:00 BST
Dear Congenica User,
This is a reminder that GEL will be deleting cases from Congenica on a regular basis. The cases that will be marked for deletion will be the ones that have been closed for 2 weeks in the Interpretation Portal, this is regardless of the amount of time that it has been in Congenica. Closed is defined as the report/summary of findings and exit questionnaire being completed by the user.
The next set of deletions will take place on the Thursday, 03 September 2026.
If you wish to keep a case in Congenica, we advise that you inform the Genomics England Service Desk at least 3 days in advance of the 2 week mark for your case.

Research Environment - Maintenance Notification - CloudOS Data Release Sep 17, 2026 09:00-18:00 BST
Dear Users,
We would like to inform you of a planned release being deployed for CloudOS.
SW 6.9 Sycamore Release will be deployed on Thursday, 17 September 2026 between 09:00 (BST) and 18:00 (BST).
Please note that we cannot ensure the normal functionality of the CloudOS application during this time.
This CloudOS release includes 8 new features, bug fixes and UX improvements:
• Linux Interactive Sessions: Install/run custom GUI apps; snapshots save environments.
• Session Storage Allocation: View storage split across libraries, session data and mounted volumes.
• devtools Dependencies: R devtools dependencies included by default.
• Convert Text Case: Change Data Map columns to upper/lowercase.
• Empty Values Substitution: Replace blanks with fixed value, mean or median.
• Independent Airlock Capabilities: Enable Data Import and Export separately.
• Airlock Import Setup: Configure file scanning once in Airlock Tower.
If you have any issues following this release, please let us know by raising a Service Desk ticket.
